Celebration of Mobile Gaming

As the world shut down in 2020 due to COVID-19, conventions, offline events, and yearly recurring industry destinations like VidCon were forced to explore options online. Luckily, with AMG’s background in content production and mobile gaming specifically, it made perfect sense for YouTube to partner with us to launch the Celebration of Mobile Gaming at VidCon.

AMG identified several of the most influential gaming titles of the year, and approached their developers and publishers to secure the rights to feature them in a mixed tournament with some of the largest mobile gaming creators in the world at the controls. In addition to designing a creative and fun tournament format, we delivered on a beautiful brand package that melded four iconic gaming brands seamlessly.

After producing a premiere event that neared the two-hour mark our associated influencer marketing and PR campaigns drove awareness to VidCon that was desperately needed during a time when the whole world felt uncertain, and fans of YouTube were seeking a sense of normalcy. We were happy to deliver on that.
