PUBG Mobile Livik Community Cup

In one of the first open tournaments of the year, PUBG MOBILE leaned on AMG once again to deliver a tournament that was memorable and impactful for its North American gaming community. While the tournament format was new territory for PUBG MOBILE, the most recent game update that celebrated PUBG MOBILE’s map Livik launching in its full form was the true reason for promotion of this tournament. Showcasing the action using all of the latest game features, and on the newly launched map made great sense.

AMG designed the tournament, associated marketing campaign, and built a technical solution that facilitated signing up over 1700 entries into the Livik Community Cup. With our in-house tech team we seamlessly processed and administrated this tournament in a manner that left participants actually feeling great about their experience, which is a difficult bar to clear when it comes to esports events. In addition to complex internal mechanisms to administer a great tournament, we also built a public-facing event website and kept scores and results up to date in real time for those following the action at home.

On the final day of the three-day live event, the community players who qualified for the finals teamed up with famous PUBG MOBILE content creators to duke it out on the battlegrounds to see who walked away with the chicken dinner, the Livik Community Cup crown, and a share of $20,000 in prize pool.
